Katy ISD Destination Imagination (DI) teams delivered standout performances at the Lone Star Finals State Tournament, earning top placements and advancing to the Global Finals after competing against more than 500 teams across Texas.

Creativity, collaboration and problem-solving are taking center stage as 18 Katy ISD Destination Imagination teams advance to the Lone Star Finals, the state’s premier innovation competition, April 10 – 11 at The University of Texas at Arlington.

Katy ISD is opening the doors to learning’s first big milestone as kindergarten enrollment opens today, Feb. 2, inviting families to begin an exciting and seamless start to their child’s educational journey. Enrollment is open through June 26.

Families, students and staff filled Katy Heritage Park for Katy ISD’s annual Brick Unveiling Ceremony, where the District honored its 2024-25 Campus Teachers of the Year with commemorative bricks installed as permanent tributes to their service.
